1) Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DevRelic LLC (“DevRelic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information across our websites (including devrelic.com and product sub-domains) and our mobile/web applications (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Note: Individual products may present short, in-app privacy notices for specific features (camera, microphone, address book, photos, push notifications). Those notices supplement this Policy.

2) Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

  • Account & Profile: email, password (hashed), display name, avatar (optional).

  • Support & Communications: messages and attachments you send to support@devrelic.com.

  • Content You Submit: prompts, messages, files (e.g., images, PDFs), feedback, and form entries.

  • Purchases & Subscriptions: we receive payment status and limited billing metadata from payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google). We do not store full card details.

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage: IP address, device/OS/browser type, app version, language, timestamps, pages/screens viewed, click/scroll data, referral URLs.

  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance metrics, error traces.

  • Cookies/Local Storage: session tokens, preferences, security controls, and—if consented—analytics cookies.

c) Mobile Identifiers (where allowed by OS settings)

  • IDFA/GAID (advertising identifiers), Vendor ID, app install and event signals used for measurement/attribution and fraud prevention (subject to consent where required).

Address Book/Contacts: Some products may offer contact sync or invitations. We ask permission first. If you grant access, we only process the minimum data needed for that feature and you may revoke access in OS settings at any time.

3) How We Use Personal Information

We process personal information to:

  • Provide & maintain the Service (authentication, syncing, content processing, subscriptions).

  • Communicate with you about accounts, security alerts, changes to terms, and support.

  • Measure & improve product performance and user experience (analytics, diagnostics).

  • Detect & prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents (including automated rate limiting).

  • Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory requests).

  • Marketing (optional): send product updates and offers where permitted; you can opt out anytime.

We do not train third-party foundation models on your personal data and we do not sell your personal information.

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK GDPR)

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) – to provide the Service you request.

  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) – security, analytics, product improvement (balanced against your rights).

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – where required for marketing, advertising IDs, or certain optional features.

  • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) – compliance with laws and requests.

5) Sharing & Disclosures

We share personal information only as needed to operate the Service or when required by law:

  • Service Providers / Sub-processors: hosting/CDN (e.g., Cloudflare), analytics (e.g., Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics/Firebase), payments (Stripe, Apple, Google), error/crash reporting, email delivery, support tooling.

  • Platform Providers: Apple App Store, Google Play for in-app purchases and compliance.

  • Legal & Safety: to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights and security, or prevent fraud/abuse.

  • Corporate Transactions: merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (subject to equivalent protections).

  • Aggregated/De-identified Data: we may share aggregated insights that cannot reasonably identify you.

We do not sell personal information. If any product engages in “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined by CPRA), we will provide an explicit opt-out.

6) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies for login/session/security;

  • Functional cookies for preferences;

  • Analytics/measurement cookies (subject to consent where required).

You can manage cookies in your browser/OS settings. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

7) International Transfers

We process data primarily in the United States and may use providers in other countries. For EEA/UK transfers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and appropriate safeguards.

8) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate, lawful purposes (e.g., compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention).
You can request account deletion from within the product (where available) or by contacting support@devrelic.com. When deleted, associated identifiers and content are removed from active systems, except where retention is legally required (e.g., billing records).

9) Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical controls appropriate to the data’s sensitivity (least-privilege access, encryption in transit/at rest where applicable, monitoring, backups). No system is 100% secure; residual risk remains.

10) Your Rights

EEA/UK (GDPR)

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port, and withdraw consent (where applicable). Submit requests at support@devrelic.com. We may verify your identity.

US – California (CCPA/CPRA)

You may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt-out of sharing/targeted advertising (if applicable), and non-discrimination. Contact support@devrelic.com to exercise these rights.

11) Product-Specific Features & Permissions

Some apps may request additional permissions for core features:

  • Camera/Microphone: for capturing content or voice features.

  • Photos/Files: to upload or save content.

  • Contacts: to sync or invite (optional, with clear consent).

  • Push Notifications: for updates you opt into (can be disabled in settings).

Before activation, we show a permission prompt explaining why the data is needed. You can change or revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.

12) Analytics & Measurement

We may use Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics/Firebase, and similar tools to understand usage (clicks, scrolls, pages/screens, events) and improve UX. We configure analytics to avoid collecting sensitive content and do not use these tools to create personal advertising profiles without required consent.

13) Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact support@devrelic.com and we will delete it.

14) Links to Third Parties

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

15) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app banner or email). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
